On Wednesday, Year 3 enjoyed a trip to Harwich to learn all about how goods are imported and exported as part of their Geography work. We toured around the streets and explored the human and physical features of the dock area as well as learning lots of interesting facts about the history of this seaside town. On our exciting boat trip, we could see the coastline from afar and got up close to two huge container ships to see the cranes in action as they loaded the ships. The added bonus was a visit to the seals on the banks of Horsey Island. Year 3 were so well behaved and enthusiastic all day and represented Kendall brilliantly.
