EYFS Visit to Boydells Farm

On Thursday we went on our first school trip linked to our learning on farming.   We visited Boydells Farm and had an amazing time learning about the animals on the farm, as well as getting hands-on with some of them.  We milked Lady Autumn, the Jersey cow and found out facts about cows.  Do you know how many stomachs they have?  We learnt about donkeys, goats, sheep and pigs, met Lawrence the Llama, alpaca, ponies, horses and a range of poultry.  We also got to bottle-feed and hold lambs and kids, see some new-born lambs and kittens, meet the resident farm cats, rabbits
