On Tuesday Year 6 enjoyed a special day out in London. After a very early 6am start, the children began their adventure at The Houses of Parliament where they learned all about the history of parliament and what it means to live in a democracy. They had a tour of the Palace of Westminster and even managed to spot a few MPs and Peers. After lunch, the children took a walk over Westminster Bridge towards London SEALife Aquarium where they spent the rest of the afternoon examining a wide-variety of sea creatures. What a fabulous finish to the children's 'Awesome Oceans' topic.
