Year 2 Visit to the Colchester Roman Circus

On Monday Year 2 visited Colchester Roman Circus to learn more about Colchester as a garrison town during the Roman times.  We were met by our guide Felix who helped us learn about how Colchester became a Roman town, its burning by Boudicca and then how it was rebuilt. We then learnt how the Romans used the circus for entertainment before re-enacting our own chariot race!
