Rainbow Day

Today we celebrated Rainbow Day, with each year group proudly wearing a different colour of the rainbow. In class, children explored the themes of equality and diversity in all their forms. Many classes shared age-appropriate books, while older pupils learned about the history of Pride and some of the inspirational individuals who have helped shape our understanding of inclusion today. Rainbow Day is a much-valued part of our Personal Development Curriculum, supporting children to stay safe, build positive relationships, lead healthy lives, and understand their place in the wider world. At Kendall, we are proud to champion equality and diversity for all—regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, race, belief, sexuality, or disability. We hope the children not only enjoyed the day but also took away important messages that will stay with them.
