Year 3 were transported back to the Stone Age when they were visited by Memma, a Stone Age woman who set up camp in our very own woodland! The children had the opportunity to pluck the feathers from a pheasant and cook it over an open fire. They also experienced a range of Stone Age activities, including bone carving, and had great fun trying on traditional Stone Age clothing.
It was a fantastic hands-on experience that brought their history learning to life!
