Year 3 Visit to Colchester Zoo

On Monday, Year 3 went to Colchester Zoo to kick start their Amazon Rainforest topic. The children walked round the rainforest route, visiting lots of the animals. They experienced a rainforest workshop to learn about the layers of the rainforest and were able to touch animal skulls and animal furs. Once the workshop had finished, we visited more of the animal enclosures before heading back to school!
