Year 5 Ancient Egyptian

On Tuesday 4th March, Year 5 stepped back in time to Ancient Egypt.  We spent the morning in the ‘Street of The Dead’ where we had to make offerings for Aten - the sun disc in the sky.   In the afternoon, we had a banquet in honour of the flooding of the Nile.  We performed plays, dances and consulted the ‘Apis Bull’ about matters of the government.
