Year 5 Ancient Maya Day

Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed their Mayan day workshop. They carried out a real-life excavation using the tools that archaeologists use on a real dig. The children tasted real Mayan food including the Mayan version of hot chocolate. In the afternoon, they explored Mayan art and artefacts, played a traditional game and dressed up in authentic Mayan clothes. A fun, interactive day was had by all!
