Year 5 Visit to Henry Moore Studio & Gardens

Today, I have been lucky enough to accompany the Year 5 children on their trip to the Henry Moore Foundation. The children enjoyed a guided tour from experts about the collection and then spent time sketching some of the amazing sculptures that peppered the landscape. The children looked carefully at positive and negative spaces, texture, light and shadow and made their own sketch books look magnificent.
